Where & when will these workshops take place?

Workshops will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  (Please refer to specific dates listed above.)  Students may arrive as early as 6:30 pm to check in and get settled.  The entire series will take place at GREENHEART YOGA & MEDITATION CENTER. Their address is 2260 Huntington Drive, San Marino, CA 91108.

Is there parking available? 

Yes.  There is abundant street parking both in front of the studio and in the surrounding neighborhood.  (Help protect the environment and carpool whenever possible!)

What can I expect?

Each workshop will feature a truly unique practice which has been specifically crafted to activate a particular chakra.  The yoga practice will include a rigorous Vinyasa Flow followed by back bends, inversions, seated postures as well as some deeper Yin stretches.  We will support this effort on the mat with other modalities such as crystals, Reiki, and guided visualization. 

It is my intention that those who attend all seven workshops will leave feeling as if their chakra system has been thoroughly cleansed and charged.  This "supercharge", if you will, enables prana (or life force) to flow freely through the body, thereby helping us to attain optimum health and vitality.  Moreover, students will have acquired the tools and knowledge necessary to overcome any future blockages, including a complete set of chakra crystals to assist in this effort.

Where will we practice? 

The entire workshop will take place at Greenheart Yoga & Meditation Center.  It's a gorgeous space with a serene feel.  Plus it has everything we might need for an awesome yoga experience!  On a personal note, I am extremely indebted to Clarisa, the owner of Greenheart, for being so willing to accommodate us with virtually zero notice.

I would like to participate, but I don't know anyone else going.

Absolutely not a problem!  “Yoga people” are some of the nicest people on the planet.  Plus, because this is an ongoing series, you will see many of the same faces month after month.  It will be no time at all before you find yourself swept up in the energy of the group.  Friendships I have made while attending yoga workshops and retreats are among the dearest of my life.  My guess is the same will hold true for you.

What if I have a conflict with some of the dates? Is it possible to purchase single workshops?

The $245 series price breaks down to $35 per workshop.  Because space is limited to 26 people, students purchasing the series will be given priority.

Single workshops will be available by wait list for $43.  If you know you can only attend a handful of sessions, you may contact me to place your name on a wait list for the dates you would like to attend.  If I have space remaining, I will make those spots available to wait-listed individuals in the order names were received.  (Please be advised that these spots will not be released until just a few days prior to the workshop in question.)

Note that in the event you must miss just one workshop, it is to your advantage to purchase the workshop series rather than buy 6 individual sessions at $43.  In this circumstance, students will save $13 plus enjoy the peace of mind in knowing registration is secure for the entire event.

My spouse or friend is interested in joining me, but he/she has no previous yoga experience.

Each workshop in this series will feature a challenging physical practice.  As always, modifications will be offered so that individuals can work at a level appropriate to his or her individual needs.  However, a current consistent yoga practice is strongly encouraged so that you can maximize the experience.
